Director of Continuous Quality Improvement

Lisa joined Ready for School, Ready for Life in December 2021 as the Director of Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI).  Lisa works with organization leaders to set the strategic direction for CQI work, while also coaching Guilford County early childhood programs to strengthen their capacity to collect, analyze, and use data to provide higher quality services to improve outcomes for families.

Prior to joining the Ready Ready team, Lisa worked at Ontrak, an AI and technology-enabled behavioral health company.  During her tenure at Ontrak as the Nutrition Specialist Manager, Lisa built a team of Nutrition Specialist Supervisors, Nutrition Specialist Coaches, and Nutrition Specialist Care Community Coordinators who collaborated to offer specialized coaching to over 10% of the 17,000 enrolled members while achieving an NPS score of 73.  In this role, Lisa provided operational and strategic program development, execution, and oversight in a virtual environment with a high level of initiative, resourcefulness, and autonomy.

Lisa’s previous experience also includes serving as a faculty member where she taught and advised collegiate students, leading a team of wellness professionals at a medical exercise facility, and providing clinical mental health counseling services to the Greensboro, North Carolina community as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA). Further, Lisa holds the NBC-HWC credential through the National Board for Health & Wellness Coaching. Lisa currently serves on the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) Counseling and Educational Development (CED) advisory board.

Lisa earned a BS in Business Administration from Susquehanna University, an MBA from Villanova University, an MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from UNCG, and a Ph.D. in Exercise and Sport Science from UNCG. Lisa’s research assessed the impact of physical activity, exercise, and fitness on health-related quality of life and executive function.  Lisa also had the opportunity to study abroad in Shanghai, China during her MBA program.

When she is not working, Lisa enjoys running, playing trivia at local breweries, listening to live music, teaching spin classes, and spending time with friends and family.
