In May 2022, Felicia Evans became Network Engagement Specialist, after joining Ready Ready as a Community Alignment Specialist on July 27th, 2020.
For the past 10 years Felicia has worked in Guilford county serving her community in some capacity. Prior to joining the Ready for School Ready for Life team Felicia was the Director of the Healthy Beginnings Program at the YWCA in Greensboro. In this role, Felicia worked to reduce the rates of infant mortality and educated moms of available resources. Felicia is also a certified nursing assistant at the local hospital, a birth doula, and lactation educator.
Felicia holds a Associates degree in General Education from Guilford Technical Community College and a BA in Human Development and Family Studies with a concentration in Child, Youth, and Families from UNC Greensboro. When she is not working in the community, she enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
